Seeking Full or Part Time Employment?

Interested in scouting opportunities?

Are you currently employed?

Interested in ownership / licensee opportunities?

A unique combination of traits is required to be a successful National Scouting Report scout. Ours is a specialized business and having previously stepped onto a diamond, field, court, pool deck, pitch or ice as a player, coach or dedicated fan does not guarantee success.

At first glance, the outward, basic set of skills is not all that unusual or tough to master:

  • Attend high school, club and travel team events.
  • Maintain and further develop college coach relationships.
  • Forge friendships with coaches on all levels.
  • Identify talent.
  • Qualify athletes athletically and academically.
  • Educate families on NCAA/NAIA recruiting rules and recruiting process.
  • Interview qualified student-athletes.
  • Introduce NSR’s promotional programs to families.
  • Conduct recruiting seminars.
  • Track prospects through their high school careers.
  • Guide families through the recruiting process.

As a result of these efforts, over 95% of NSR athletes receive scholarship offers.

Sounds easy, right? However, it takes a special individual to master the NSR scout training and go change lives.

In fact, most onlookers see NSR scouts and say, “I wish I had that job.” Well, there’s more to being a great college scout for National Scouting Report.

NSR’s best scouts – the ones that make a very good living at this work – combine an exceptional work ethic with extraordinary people skills, communication skills and outstanding organizational skills. These are people whose personal pride, drive and instincts will not allow them to be anything but winners. They are compulsive about details, persistent in achieving their goals, and see obstacles as opportunities.

NSR’s top scouts possess unique backgrounds and experience. The best NSR scouts have playing and coaching experience in their sport(s) of expertise. Many NSR scouts have business backgrounds that required them to interact with people daily. The most successful scouts have a relentless drive and self determination to succeed. These scouts thrive in helping young athletes attain their dream of playing in college.

The schedule of an NSR Scout is not one that is of a timid, disorganized or lazy person. It is the schedule of someone who loves the work and does what it takes to find, enroll and help kids and their families.

Being an NSR scout is hard work. Some people don’t have the intestinal fortitude to work that hard. For those who do, the work is challenging, yes, but with no day being like another, the multitude of responsibilities and activities can be a perfect fit and career choice.

There is no halfway with NSR. You are either all in or you are in the way.

Can you handle it?

The rewards of being a successful NSR scout are soul-reaching, life-altering and eternally worthwhile. If you have what it takes and can prove that you do, apply to be part of the NSR team. We want to talk to you.
