Missouri State QB Does the Job Rushing and Throwing

Former NSR prospect, senior quarterback Cody Kirby, has had a tough nut to crack every Saturday this fall.  Each week Cody and the Missouri State Bears must face another quality opponent in the always challenging Missouri Valley Conference, one of the most competitive FCS conferences in America.  All hasn’t gone the Bears way this year.  With a 4 and 6 won-loss record, the team will encounter yet another solid team on Saturday in North Dakota State.  Still, Cody, from Rogers, Ark., has played consistently well and demonstrated his versatility throughout the year.  And, his numbers speak to that fact.  Heading into the season finale, Cody is the Bears’ third leading rusher having run for 543 yards and 13 TD’s.  Through the air, he has been outstanding having completed 165 passes in 290 attempts with six interceptions and ten touchdowns for 2,011 yards and a 128.2 passing efficiency rating.
