Landry's Stats Mount in Sooners' Win over Red Raiders

BCS 16th-ranked Oklahoma University  improved to 8-2 and won its 36th straight home game with a 45-7 victory over Texas Tech on Saturday as former NSR prospect Landry Jones threw five TD passes and racked up 317 yards on a 22 for 29 performance with no interceptions.  He surpassed 300 yards passing for the seventh time this season.  For the season, the sophomore signal caller has completed 285 passes in 426 attempts with 27 touchdowns and six interceptions for a passing efficiency rating of 147.16.  Landry is currently averaging 315.4 yards per game through the air.  The Sooners’ next game will be this Saturday in Waco, TX as they go up against the resurgent Baylor Bears.
