Jeff Camilli

Jeff Camilli is a 6’4″, 245-pound linebacker from Ponderosa High School in Shingle Springs, California.  Jeff carries a 2.8 GPA and was his school’s defensive player of the year last season after being credited with 126 tackles, 96 solo.  In his essay to college coaches, he says, “I have been playing football for six years and I am very passionate about the game. I would like to continue my career to the next level.  I have been training very hard during the off season wrestling, weight lifting and working on my speed and agility. I work hard during practice; you play how you practice so I am always going 100% in whatever I do. If I continued at the next level I think my combined skills and the love of the game would be a positive input for any program.”  In a Sacramento Bee feature article, it was announced that Jeff already has an offer from Fresno State from the Mountain West Conference.  The article calls Jeff perhaps one of the all-time great players to come out of the Shingle Springs high school.
