Our’s is a reputation built on a firm dedication to the success of college athletic programs across America

NSR prospects are closely vetted for ability, grades, character and family support.

So, what’s the big deal?  Why not just hang a shingle and then sign high school athletic prospects without going through the hassle of interviewing them?  It’s called reputation.

National Scouting Report has been at the scouting and recruiting business longer than anyone or any company in America.  Since 1980 we have put scouts on the ground in search of college prospects who can actually play sports at the next level.  There is no shortcut, in our minds.  You either have the talent, grades, character and family support, or you don’t.  It’s really as simple as that.

But, then again, it’s not really that simple.  If it was, as they say, everyone would do it.  NSR’s reputation is the very best in the scouting ranks.  No one enrolls then presents to college coaches the quality of high school athletes that NSR does.  And, there’s a good reason for this unparalleled success.  We do the work that scouts are supposed to do.  By searching for legitimate college prospects, we are starting the process on the righteous foot.  We don’t accept, nor will we enroll, prospects that are incapable of playing at some level of college athletics.  Granted, that opens our enrollment options to a wide range of candidates, but through the methodical process which we have adopted, the prospects which we represent are the real deal.  Certainly, they are not all top-notch DI talent, but that’s reality.

We work for the prospects that can and will play at the very best level of college competition.  That is proven day after day, year after year.  But, we also give credence to those prospects that have all the attributes college coaches at the DII, DIII, NAIA and JUCO coaches need, and want, for their programs.  We do not pretend to be a boutique scouting service.  We do not have our heads in the sand that all coaches utilize scouting services, either.  But, we do know this:  when we present quality prospects to college coaches, they are evaluated, contacted and recruited.  And, that in essence is the crux of what we are attempting to accomplish every day of our existence as America’s most respected scouting service.

If a prospect does not have the athleticism to play in college, we do not enroll them.  If he or she does not have the academic history to prove that they can thrive in an academic environment, we do not enroll them.  If their character is flawed in a significant way which could conceivably reflect badly on a college, we do not enroll them.  And, if they do not have the full support of their families, we do not enroll them.

At National Scouting Report, we take scouting, enrolling and representing prospects seriously.  After 32 years of working in the trenches with college coaches, they expect it from us.  Our reputation is what we hang our hats on every day.  And when you go to our Web site and look at the high school prospects we proudly represent, you will clearly see the difference between NSR and all the other scouting services that fall far short of our high standards.
