We are proud to present Jordan Poole, a 2012 softball prospect from Westwood High School in Round Rock, Texas, as our Female Athlete of the Day.  She recently committed to the University of Chicago.  Jordan has been her team’s number one pitcher and their leading hitter throughout her entire high school career.  Jordan played select ball with the Austin Storm (TX).  The 5’8″ hurler carries a very impressive 4.0 GPA.  She plans to major in Biology.  In her essay to college coaches, Jordan says, “I have fun competing and there is nothing more fun than winning a competition, whether that is in practice or in an actual game in a tournament. I also work hard, attending practice every day, pitching lessons and working outside of practice with my teammates. All of the things I have learned from softball, hard work, people skills, self confidence and mental attitude, have also helped in the classroom.”  Her NSR scout is Randy Evans, AD for Central Texas.
