We are pleased to present Braxton Peats, a 2012 running back from Valor Christian High School in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, as our Male Athlete of the Day.  The 5’9″, 170-pounder carries a 3.0 GPA.  In his scouting report on Braxton, NSR Colorado AD Mike Simbro says, ” Braxton is a very well respected student who is often favored by his peers and teachers. Hard-working, all out effort and becoming a vocal leader are what you can expect from this student athlete who is improving himself everyday, not only as an athlete but as a well rounded individual. Braxton is the type of player who is very willing to compete anywhere in the country as long as he can gain a quality education.”  In his essay to college coaches, Braxton says, “I am a student athlete and not just a football player. Having always been a three sport player, I have learned to balance my schedule and use my time wisely in an attempt keep my grades up while still playing sports.  My desire would be to attend a college that is known for their academics as well as their athletics. I plan to complete my Bachelor’s degree and then immediately start a Masters program.”
