Max Hardman, #25 at right, is mobbed by teammates following his walk-off home run.

Good things happen to those who wait is a fitting adage for freshman outfielder and former NSR prospect, Max Hardman from Encinitas, CA, who launched a dramatic walk-off grand slam to secure the University of Redlands baseball team’s 9-6 victory over the 13th-ranked Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens last Saturday.  Hardman entered the game in the eighth inning and eventually provided a well-timed offensive punch in the bottom of the ninth. The towering long ball was the rookie’s first career home run as a Bulldog.  His NSR scout was Matt Rand, San Diego Area Director.
