NSR Male AOD: John Hall, hoops guard, from Silverdale, Tennesee, with a 3.0 GPA

NSR scouts are constantly on the lookout for quality high school student-athletes and Chuck Harris (Chattanooga, TN) certainly discovered one in our Male Athlete of the Day, John Hall.  The 6’3″ senior is a 3.0 student at Silverdale Christian Academy in Chattanooga with plans of becoming a teacher.  In Harris’s scouting report, he says, “John is an outstanding student-athlete that excels on the court and in the classroom. He is an exceptional ball handler with quick hands and feet, comfortable playing either guard or forward. He is very athletic, able to shoot from the outside with touch, or use his strength to be effective on the inside. He is solid on defense and runs the court well. John’s drive to succeed athletically and academically is his biggest asset. He puts in extra time studying and training in an effort to constantly improve himself. John is a young man with great character and a desire to always do his best.”  And in John’s own words to college coaches, he states, “Basketball has blessed me in many ways on and off the court and allowed me to travel many different places to compete. It has distilled in me a leadership role. I love to study the game and use my energy and talent to help others learn the game of basketball. I am dedicated and determined to make any team that I play for, no matter what it takes.”
