These Six Things Will Put You in a Solid Position to be Evaluated

Give coaches the info needed to make a quick initial evaluation of your qualifications.

Good grades.  In today’s recruiting environment, the first things coaches go to are a prospect’s grades.  Take care of your academic business.  Include your core course GPA and any standardized test results.  Without good grades your options will be limited.

Club team involvement.  After grades coaches want to know if you are committed to your sport and being on a club or travel team is the best indicator you can send.

Legit Statistics.  Got stats?  With them you give a coach the ability to quickly see what type of performance they can expect when you get to the college level.

Organized profile info.  Start with details of your latest year in high school and go back to your freshman season, including all club or travel info you can provide.

Solid character.  Give references from your coaches and community which will verify your character.  This has become a very important part of the selection process for college coaches.

Intended major.  Coaches need to know if their college offers what you want to pursue as a major.  If they don’t have it in their curriculum, you and they can move on to other options.
