Sharpshooter Has Long List of Accomplishments
NSR basketball prospect, Mariah Deckard, a 5’6″ guard from Viera High School in Viera, Florda is our Female Athlete of the Day. She carries a 3.6 GPA and plans to major in Accounting. Speaking to college coaches in her essay, Mariah says, “I have been playing competitive (travel) basketball for seven years and my team has won three USSSA State Championships, one runner-up trophy in AAU States and we placed 5th in AAU Nationals. I have played varsity for the last four years at Viera High School in Melbourne, FL. I am very focused on my education. I would like to be able to play basketball and receive a great education at the same time.” Her NSR scout is Shay Robinson, Area Scout in the Melbourne, Florida area.
