His high school coach, Doug Hill, says, “Luke will train with any coach at any time. He loves drills and adding new things to his game. Luke is extremely coachable and eager to learn. Luke’s shot is his biggest asset. He has one of the purest shots I have coached in my 13 years. His quick release and high arc to go along with his 6’ 4“ frame make him a dangerous weapon. He shoots the three effortlessly up to NBA range.” He has an 86 average in school. Luke averaged 18.0 per game as a junior, was named All-League and was elected team captain. Dan Greco, New Jersey Area Director, had this to say about Luke in his scouting report, “He can drive strong to the basket but he also can stop on a dime and get his jumper off.He is very athletic,handles the ball well,and is an excellent 3 point shooter.He sees the court well and is the type of player who has a strong desire to work on and keep improving his game.Those are the type of kids who do well at the next level.Luke has the whole package: excellent player with a great attitude who is an honor roll student as well. He will be a great benefit to any program he becomes part of.”
