Week 4:  Oklahoma 31, Cincinnati 29
Week 5:  OU vs. Texas (Saturday) in the Red River Rivalry

Former NSR prospect and Oklahoma QB Landry Jones led the Oklahoma Sooners (4-0) to another tightly contested win as OU downed the Cincinnati Bearcats 31 to 29 in Cincinnati at Paul Brown Stadium.  A late interception of Landry resulted in a Bearcats TD, but the game’s outcome was never seriously in question.  Next week’s opponent, the Texas Longhorns, experienced what head coach Mac Brown described as an embarrassing 34-12 loss to visiting UCLA.  The traditional Red River Rivalry will take place this Saturday in Dallas at the Cotton Bowl.  Here are Landry’s stats for the Cincinnati game and totals for the season through four games:  36 of 51 for 370 yards with two touchdowns and one interception.  For the year, Landry is 109 of 169 passing attempts with nine TD’s and three INT’s for 1,221 total yards.  His completion rate is 64.5% and he is throwing for an average of 305 yards per game.
