There just is nothing as much fun as seeing two great high school players go at it in clean, hard competition.  Such was the case last Friday when Irving McArthur High’s Alexis Jones (left, 2012 NSR prospect) faced off against Coffeyville Heritage’s Alexia Standish in one of the most anticipated head-to-head match-ups in recent memory.  Entering the game, Alexis’ stats were indeed impressive:  21.1 points and 6.3 assists per game.  Standish, though, also sported solid numbers at 23.4 points and 5.7 assists per outing.

The PG Clash did not disappoint anyone although McArthur came out on top 61-45.  Alexis won the individual battle as well pouring in 27 points with three 3-pointers while holding her counterpart to 17 points.
