NSR Athletes Celebrate Early Signing Period: One Decision, Many Journeys

The early signing period is always a special time—but for NSR athletes and their families, it’s a milestone that represents years of hard work, discipline, sacrifice, and belief. Every November, we watch athletes across the country put pen to paper and officially commit to the next chapter of their athletic careers. And while their stories are all different, the signing moment carries the same powerful message: they found their fit.

This year, NSR athletes signed across a wide range of sports—baseball, softball, volleyball, basketball, soccer, track, wrestling, golf, football, and more. They represent big schools and small schools, powerhouse conferences and hidden gems, hometown programs and far-away adventures. You’ll find NSR signees at NCAA Division I, Division II, and Division III programs, as well as NAIA and JUCO schools making immediate impacts on rosters nationwide.

Their paths could not be more unique.

Some were recruited early.

Some exploded late.

Some overcame injuries, setbacks, coaching changes, or doubt.

Some had dozens of options, and others had one perfect opportunity.

But despite the differences in sport, division, or journey, every athlete reached the same conclusion: the best decision is the right decision for YOU.

Veteran Scout and Area Director, Mandi Balduf, shares what signing day means to her. “Scout life has never been about sports. The signing days remind me that it’s the relationships and connections I’ve built with these PSAs and families over years. It’s not just been a flash in the pan…there have been tough conversations mixed in with tough love along the way. But the fact remains, is that I’ve been a constant for them the whole way through, sharing what needs to be said vs what they wanted to hear. Watching these kids succeed in their sport is great. But it’s even more fulfilling to see their growth in social skills, faith, family, and academics. Signing days are a confirmation that the process ALWAYS works for those who work the process. They had a dream and we had the plan.”

At NSR, that’s the message we push from day one. Success in recruiting isn’t about chasing the biggest logo or doing what everyone else is doing—it’s about finding the program where you can develop, compete, and thrive. It’s about choosing a campus that feels like home, teammates who feel like family, and coaches who believe in your potential.

That’s why this week is so meaningful. These athletes didn’t just sign.

They committed to their future.

They took control of their journey.

They made a decision that fits who they are and who they want to become.

We are incredibly proud of every NSR athlete who signed during the early period. Your hard work earned this moment, and your confidence in choosing the right fit shows maturity beyond your years. You didn’t just reach the finish line—you reached the right one.

Congratulations to the Class of 2025 early signees. Your next chapter starts now, and we can’t wait to watch you shine.
