College Scouts are on the ground in Northeastern Tennessee.

Bill and the staff at NSR are dedicated to finding scholarship opportunities for athletes in Northeastern Tennessee that possess the talent, desire, and motivation to compete at the collegiate level. We provide athletic evaluations, academic guidance, and an in-depth education on the recruiting process. Upon successful evaluation and qualification into our program, National Scouting Report will provide the appropriate link between the student athlete and over 2,000 colleges and universities across the country.

NSR prides itself on having scouts on the ground across the country and around the world, checking out our prospects firsthand and making sure they are the quality athletes that we are proud to represent. If you see an NSR scout at your next event, be sure to ask them any questions you may have about college recruiting, and how NSR can help secure the futures of young athletes.

Alan has nearly a decade of college coaching experience at both the 4-year and Junior College levels.  Alan began his coaching career as a Junior College assistant at Roane State Community College.  During his time as an assistant at Roane State, he recruited numerous All-TCCAA Student Athletes, helped Roane State have the highest graduation rate in the TCCAA, and helped lead the program to its first TCCAA Championship Game appearance, where they fell just short of winning the TCCAA Championship. Alan next had a stint at Union College (NAIA) in Barbourville, KY.  He helped recruit multiple All-AAC performers, and the Bulldogs went on to win the Appalachian Athletic Conference Regular Season and Tournament Championships. Alan then returned to Roane State as an assistant coach and took over as the Head Men's Basketball Coach in 2021.  In his first season of taking over the Raiders, Alan helped propel the program to new heights.  The Raiders had their most wins in over a decade, going 18-10 on the season.  The Raiders also won their first ever TCCAA Conference Tournament Championship and attended the NJCAA Division 1 National Tournament for the first time in school history this season.  The Raiders also produced future University of Tennessee Vol, 1st Team All-TCCAA player, and TCCAA Conference Tournament MVP, Alec Kegler. In his second season, the Raiders only built upon their previous success.  They finished the season with a 23-9 record and repeated as TCCAA Conference Tournament Champions.  They also returned to Hutchinson, Kansas for the second straight year to participate in the NJCAA Division 1 National Tournament.  The Raiders produced the TCCAA Conference Defensive Player of the Year and 2nd Team All-TCCAA player, Cearius Warren, 2nd Team All-TCCAA player, Kavon Blankenship, and 1st Team All-TCCAA player, and TCCAA Conference Tournament MVP, Sebastian Tidor. As a player, Alan attended Bryan College in Dayton, TN, where he was a four year letterman and two year starter for the Lions.

I am a native of the Gray area of NE TN. I was a lettermen in both football and basketball, receiving college interest in both. I attended Milligan College where I played basketball for four years and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, concentrating in Sport Management with minors in Business Administration and Coaching in 2017. My family and I struggled to get proper guidance in the recruiting process and I want to prevent that for others! I’ve coached and trained players from the youth level through collegiate for 8+ years. Helping the next generation improve to be able to achieve the dreams and goals they have set for themselves is my passion!  I want every athlete that is willing to sacrifice to get the signing day that I was blessed to be able to have.
