Birmingham, AL – [December 3, 2025] – National Scouting Report (NSR), the world’s most respected high school scouting organization since 1980, today announced the addition of former NFL quarterback and prominent media personality Sean Salisbury to its national scouting team. Salisbury will immediately begin his role, dedicating his decades of professional experience to identifying, evaluating, and guiding elite student-athletes towards their dreams of competing at the collegiate level.
Salisbury brings an unparalleled perspective to the NSR team. A standout quarterback at the University of Southern California (USC), he went on to a ten-year professional career that included stints with the Minnesota Vikings, San Diego Chargers, and Seattle Seahawks in the NFL, as well as leading the Winnipeg Blue Bombers to a Grey Cup Championship in the CFL.
Following his playing days, Salsbury became one of the most recognizable faces in sports media, serving as an NFL analyst on ESPN’s SportsCenter and NFL Live for nearly a decade, and most recently hosting highly rated radio programs in the Houston market. His work as a consultant for the film The Longest Yard also showcases his ability to break down the technical aspects of the quarterback position and athletic performance. Salisbury also hosts a daily podcast “Unpaved” available on YouTube.
