Many will be signing with FBS (NCAA Division I) and FCS (Division I-AA) programs. Others will be signing with NCAA Division II or III teams in the days, weeks and months ahead.

All of those prospects were promoted to college coaches by NSR, the nation’s oldest and largest college recruiting organization. NSR boasts a 95 percent success rate helping high school student-athletes in all sports receive college offers.

Even that remarkable success rate won’t satisfy Larry Perrin, National Football Director for NSR.

“If I don’t get 100 percent [of our prospects] some kind of offer, then we’ve failed,” Perrin said. “That is our goal — nothing less.”

NSR’s success rate is due primarily to three factors: selectivity, exposure and relationships.

NSR is the only recruiting organization that qualifies prospects. It does not have open enrollment. Prospects must be scouted, evaluated and interviewed in person by one of NSR’s 200 national and international scouts before they are offered a chance to enroll.

If they enroll, NSR immediately begins promoting them to college coaches with its unparalleled 18-phase national exposure program. Prospects continue to be promoted until they make a verbal commitment and, ultimately, sign with a college or university.

In addition, NSR uses its thousands of college contacts to help place its prospects. Those relationships are built by attending hundreds of major events — tournaments, clinics and conventions – across the country.

NSR received the ultimate compliment from a college football coach last month at the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) convention in San Antonio.

“The coach told me, ‘I can talk to [NSR] and know you are the real deal,’’’ said Robert Cagle, National Director of Scouting for NSR. “[NSR] doesn’t enroll just anybody. You evaluate kids and qualify them. I know you’re not wasting our time when you recommend a kid to us.”

What do wide receiver Hines Ward, quarterback Landry Jones and running back Jay Prosch have in common?
