National Scouting Report<\/a> loves to scout volleyball athletes. We DIG It!
\nOne thing is always true about a competitive volleyball player, they understand REAL\u00a0teamwork with selfless play.\u00a0\u00a0Competitive volleyball requires team chemistry and\u00a0great communication, among every position. Watching a great volleyball team is\u00a0truly like watching a “well oiled machine”. \u00a0On the other hand, a struggling\u00a0volleyball team will almost always have had a breakdown in communication. For 34\u00a0years, National Scouting Report, like competitive volleyball players, understands\u00a0the key to recruiting success is that same communication. \u00a0NSR has made\u00a0communicating with College Coaches one of our top priorities throughout the\u00a0years. \u00a0And of course, communicating with our athletes is paramount as well. \u00a0With NSR being recognized by college volleyball coaches as being the most credible\u00a0source of scouting and recruiting information, our goal is to begin and facilitate the\u00a0communication between athletes and college coaches. \u00a0NSR believes in Volleyball and\u00a0Communication!<\/p>\n

Over the summer and now moving into fall, NSR Scouts have seen and will see some great\u00a0volleyball. \u00a0But what makes a great volleyball athlete? \u00a0Based on position,\u00a0there is obviously some height requirements, some vertical jump requirements and\u00a0some ball speed advantages. \u00a0But, outside of these tangibles, what in addition are\u00a0coaches looking for? \u00a0College coaches are looking for team players. \u00a0They need\u00a0that athlete that can be added to their team without adding drama. \u00a0They need\u00a0someone who can add positive communication to their existing team.\u00a0\u00a0Must the\u00a0athlete be able to jump and have great court awareness and a great swing – yes,\u00a0but she must have the intangibles as well, a great attitude with a team\u00a0spirit. \u00a0The best volleyball athlete with the worst attitude has the ability to
\ntear up a team.<\/p>\n

NSR is currently working with some great volleyball\u00a0athletes. \u00a0We, like the college coaches, are looking for great athletes with great\u00a0attitudes. \u00a0At great events like the Festival<\/a>, AAU Nationals, Big South and\u00a0the host of other national and regional club tournaments and even some high school teams, NSR Scouts are\u00a0finding great athletes with very bright futures. \u00a0If you have the tangibles,\u00a0but just as important the intangibles of attitude and effort, we are looking for\u00a0you. \u00a0We have college coaches across the country that tell us exactly what they need in the\u00a0tangibles and then we tell them about the intangibles. \u00a0Let us help you begin\u00a0your conversations with the college coaches you want to play for! \u00a0Look for NSR at\u00a0a tournament near you! \u00a0Or fill out an\u00a0 athlete evaluation form<\/span><\/a>\u00a0and we will make a point to\u00a0come evaluate you. \u00a0Keep working on your tangibles and definitely keep working on\u00a0your intangibles.<\/p>\n
