{"id":7403,"date":"2013-12-09T07:07:44","date_gmt":"2013-12-09T13:07:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nsr-inc.com\/blog\/?p=7403"},"modified":"2013-12-09T07:07:44","modified_gmt":"2013-12-09T13:07:44","slug":"the-human-element-and-effectiveness-separate-nsr-from-other-high-school-scouting-companies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nsr-inc.com\/scouting-news\/the-human-element-and-effectiveness-separate-nsr-from-other-high-school-scouting-companies\/","title":{"rendered":"The Human Element and Effectiveness Separate NSR from other High School Scouting Companies"},"content":{"rendered":"<figure id=\"attachment_6556\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-6556\" style=\"width: 202px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"http:\/\/nsr-inc.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/Michaela-Decker-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-6556\" alt=\"NSR athletes are carefully selected by area scouts and then effectively promoted to coaches across America.\" src=\"\/\/nsr-inc.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/Michaela-Decker-2.jpg\" width=\"212\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-6556\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">NSR athletes are carefully selected by area scouts and then effectively promoted to coaches across America.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>When high school prospects and their parents go in search of assistance with recruiting, there are today a plethora of options.\u00a0 But we assert that no option matches the needs of families like National Scouting Report, or more widely known as NSR.\u00a0 But, why is that true?<\/p>\n<p>Families typically want two assurances.\u00a0 First, that they will\u00a0work with a person that personally knows them and\u00a0especially their athlete.\u00a0 Second, they\u00a0want effectiveness.\u00a0 NSR offers both, without reservation.<\/p>\n<p>At NSR, our scouts are real scouts.\u00a0 We\u00a0constantly train them on the fundamentals of scouting, how to help\u00a0our student-athlete-client families\u00a0succeed in recruiting, which\u00a0recruiting rules and developments in the NCAA, NAIA and NJCAA have the most impact on\u00a0our clients, and how to\u00a0best identify the client-families which meet our high standards.\u00a0 This is not an easy\u00a0process which we undertake.\u00a0 If that were so, every so-called scouting organization\u00a0would be doing it.\u00a0 Instead, it takes focus and a\u00a0high degree of analysis, education and implementation.\u00a0\u00a0Examine other companies closely and you will uncover that they do not take the tough road to your success.\u00a0 In fishing, you have heard of the catch-and-release method?\u00a0 Simplified, that is what far too many scouting\u00a0companies do.<\/p>\n<p>A quick\u00a0glance at\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/nsr-inc.com\/\">the NSR\u00a0athlete roster<\/a> proves this.\u00a0 We do not accept everyone.\u00a0 Our\u00a0personally selected athletes must rise to a higher level of\u00a0skill,\u00a0academic\u00a0competence, character\u00a0and family support than the average high-school athlete.\u00a0\u00a0They must first be capable of playing at some level of college competition.\u00a0 They must have a\u00a0keen desire to play in college.\u00a0 They must demonstrate an uncommon dedication to\u00a0maintaining\u00a0solid grades and test scores.\u00a0 And, we\u00a0must see\u00a0a history of emotional and financial support from their families.<\/p>\n<p>Why are these criteria so important?\u00a0 Because\u00a034 years of working with college coaches\u00a0clearly tells us that those are the qualities\u00a0a large majority of coaches search for when recruiting athletes for their programs.\u00a0 That means that the odds are heavily stacked in the favor of every NSR prospect when it comes to being evaluated and recruited.<\/p>\n<p>At NSR, it is our belief that only through personal contact between an athlete, family and scout can these objectives be\u00a0met.\u00a0 And by personal, we do not mean via the telephone.\u00a0 It would be generous to even refer to that method as remote scouting.\u00a0 Plainly, we are not an open-enrollment company that will\u00a0take the hard-earned money of just any willing family\u00a0and post their info online with promises of getting recruited.\u00a0 Nor are we a telemarketing juggernaut with\u00a0rooms full of &#8220;scouts&#8221; whose prime purpose is to lure (there&#8217;s that fishing reference, again) potential clients with recruiting promises without ever having personally scouted the athlete or, for that matter,\u00a0having met them, watched them on film or worse yet\u00a0verified their profile info.<\/p>\n<p>That said, at NSR we are human, not automated minions, so we are\u00a0not perfect.\u00a0 We do our best, but like any human-related endeavor, we will occasionally trip.\u00a0 However, it is our full and sincere\u00a0intention to offer each of our prospects one-on-one service from a personal scout, extraordinary marketing, and exceptional results.\u00a0 Our collective goal?\u00a0 To raise our client-athletes above the fray, which is what the modern recruiting process has become, through methods which are time-honored and respected by college coaches.\u00a0 We know what works for both the aspiring athlete and the coaches wanting to discover them.\u00a0 We know because we have more experience in the field than any other scouting organization in America, or around the globe, in fact.\u00a0 We know because we could not have excelled in the business of recruiting if our methods and our hearts were not in the right place.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>When high school prospects and their parents go in search of assistance with recruiting, there are today a plethora of options.\u00a0 But we assert that no option matches the needs of families like National Scouting Report, or more widely known as NSR.\u00a0 But, why is that true?
