abilities.\u00a0 In these\u00a0situations, it can definitely be an advantage for\u00a0athletes to participate and get a leg up on their\u00a0peers which choose to sit them out.<\/p>\n<p>Still,\u00a0money\u00a0can be\u00a0a factor, too.\u00a0 Charging fees to the athletes\u00a0is a cash flow bonanza for some groups.\u00a0 Entry tickets\u00a0can rise into the hundreds of dollars for a one- or two-day combines\u00a0and this, of course, funds the events at the expense of the athletes.\u00a0\u00a0That in itself\u00a0can be problematic because not all high school student-athletes can muster up the bucks to attend leaving them on the outside looking in.\u00a0 Still, because of the\u00a0press\u00a0generated, particularly for the top performers, it can be a boon for\u00a0sophomores and juniors\u00a0that may have previously flown under the radar.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The inside scoop on how combines work and their value to prospects Combines are cropping up everywhere a high school athlete turns.\u00a0 And at NSR, our prospect-clients are constantly asking the justifiable question, &#8220;Should I go to these combines?\u00a0 Will I get exposure to college coaches?&#8221;
