I feel as though running influences much more than just my athletic ability, but that it also creates an amazing community of kind people who seek to build each other up. This is why I enjoy my sport so much; it means so much more to me than just a team hoping to succeed. It is a family that excels together, and fails together. I hope one day to run collegiately so that I can take my abilities to a whole new level. Reaching the collegiate level of running would also open up opportunities that just simply are not present in many students’ lives. I want to be a positive influence and leader among a team that is similar to the team family that I have now.”

We are proud to present Max Silcox as our Male Athlete of the Day. Holding a 3.8 GPA, Max plans to major in Biology. He has gathered honors throughout his running career including being named to the All-Conference 1st Team, capturing the individual sectional championship, voted his team’s Most Valuable Runner award and making the All-Area … Read more

[1
