In the classroom and on the athletic fields he is dependable, hardworking, vigilant, and responsible.Academically, Cadizsh has worked extremely hard over the past 3 years. I have seen him improve and grow into a responsible and mature young man. He arrives to class prepared, promptly, and his homework is completed timely. He has developed a great report with his teachers throughout the building. Athletically, Cadizsh has been a standout varsity running back and linebacker since his 9th grade year. During his freshman and sophomore campaigns he has helped lead Holley to the Class C semifinals in 2009 and the Class C finals in 2010. In 2010 he was named to the Genesee Region All-Star team. Cadizsh is a physical presence on the football field with explosive game breaking capability. His physicality on the field changes opponent’s approaches. Offensively Cadizsh has played both mostly running back and quarterback for us. His sure handedness has also made him an optimal receiving target. Our reliance on his playmaking ability means that in any given game, he can be split out or in the backfield. In addition, he is a punt and kick returner on special teams. On numerous occasions I have seen him emerge from a pile of defenders that looked to have no escape. He is incredibly tough to tackle and often delivers a harder hit on the tackler than the tackler on him.Defensively, Cadizsh is our ball hawk. He is going to bring it every play. He is a punishing tackler with a nose for the football.” In his message to college coaches, Cadizch says matter of factly, “Due to my hard work in the weight room and on the track. I’ve achieved Section 5 Class C Genesee Region League All-Star for both track and football, along side of my determination of wanting to become better, the weight room has also become a tremendous amount of help and improvement on my sports and life itself. The weight room has shown me the meaning of working hard and getting a great deal of rewards for doing so. It has taken me from a 11.97 to a 11.20 100m dash and a 24.64 200m to a 23.30. The weight room has allowed me to now hold the school’s record for the mens 100m and 200m dash with State Qualifying time. Although I have mastered in sports, my education is equally of importance. I’ve been on Honor Role for 3 out of the 4 semesters. I’m the type of player who’s willing to do anything absolutely anything to help our team win.” Tom Sydeski (New York) is his NSR scout.

Cadizsh Norford is our Male Athlete of the Day. A 5’6″, 190-pound powder keg running back, Cadizch has earned the respect of his coaches, teammates and opponents. Carrying a 2.9 GPA, following his junior year at Holley Central High School in Holley, New York, captured awards such as being named a Genesee Region All-Star and placing … Read more

[1
