Hannah Scholten<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

We are very pround to announce that Hannah Scholten<\/strong> <\/a>has been selected as our Female Athlete of the Day.\u00a0 The 5’6″ libero carries a 3.5 GPA and wants to pursue a nursing degree and career after graduating from Murietta Valley High (California).\u00a0 In her essay to college coaches, Hannah says, “I feel that I would benefit any team because I truly am a team player and would work hard each day just so I wouldn’t let my team down. I also am very coachable and eager to learn new techniques! Thank you so much!”\u00a0 Cliff Weeks is her NSR scout and in his scouting report on Hannah, he says, “Hannah is a solid athlete with great a great attitude and good grades. We had a chance to see her ability on the floor during the Las Vegas Classic. Hannah has solid power and is quick on her feet. Digs and passes well and has solid court vision. Hannah is also athletic; she reads the opposing hitters well and is able to get into a good defensive position quickly to react to off-tempo shots that are in front of her.. Hannah does need to still develop her footwork more and to work on the strength of her serve. Hannah has strong desires to improve herself to be a better player and I see her being a solid player that many collegiate programs will want to have.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
