Eric Steinwachs<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Eric Steinwachs<\/strong> <\/a>is a 6’0″, 150-pound lacrosse player whose main strength is his versatility.\u00a0 Carrying a B average, Eric wants to become an athletic trainer.\u00a0 Playing for Williamsville North High in Williamsville, New York, Eric has already been named to the Nike Upstate Rising Team this fall.\u00a0 His scouting report was written by NSR<\/strong> scout Jim Crotty<\/strong> who says of Eric, “A mid-fielder short stick who understands the game and is very good at ground balls. Earned a varsity letter as a sophomore and received a great evaluation from the Fastbreak Lacrosse camp (Summer 2011). Works with a personal trainer and is constantly working to improve his speed, strength and skills. Has played numerous sports in the past, but concentrates on lacrosse now. In the classroom, has a 90 grade point average taking honors and regents classes. Will be a great addition to any lacrosse program and college.”\u00a0 Addressing college coaches in his personal essay, Eric states, “Making every practice on time and ready to go have taught me dedication.\u00a0 I do all my homework and turn it on time because of the dedication I have learned on the field.\u00a0 By setting goals for myself, I have become self motivated and set out to achieve these goals.\u00a0 Off the field I set goals in school like making the honor roll each marking period.\u00a0 I must study and do the work to achieve my goals.\u00a0 Sports have taught me great wok ethic and that if I want to be great at whatever I do, I must work hard for it.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
