NSR doesn't take everyone, but when you are selected? Wow!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Chances are good that if your child is a high school athlete that he or she is not getting all the attention you thought would be flooding your way.\u00a0 Right?\u00a0 Thought so.\u00a0 There’s a good reason for that.\u00a0 College coaches have all but eliminated high school games and events from their scouting process and have turned to club and travel team tournaments and showcases instead.\u00a0 If you’ve been awake for the past five years, however, you probably know that.\u00a0 Right?\u00a0 Thought so.\u00a0 Yet, where are the college coaches?\u00a0 Why aren’t they knocking down your door?\u00a0 Your athlete is practicing overtime and you’re spending gobs of money for travel or club sports and still…a handful of coaches have noticed, if that.<\/p>\n

It’s not your fault, that is unless you fail to heed the advice in this blog which could very well turn your child’s fortunes around overnight.\u00a0 Well, maybe not overnight, but faster than you could have imagined otherwise.<\/p>\n

Here’s the thing.\u00a0 College coaches walk into the tournaments your athlete is participating in with a list of athletes in hand they plan to scout.\u00a0 And if you haven’t done what’s necessary to get your athlete on those coaches’ lists then you may as well take all that work and money and toss it in the nearest dumpster.\u00a0 These coaches are not at these events to discover talent.\u00a0 They are there to confirm the talent of prospects they already know about and have evaluated and have decided to spend their time seeing in person.\u00a0 Why would they stop and watch your athlete who happens to be on an adjacent field?\u00a0 There is no reason, none.\u00a0 And, what if these coaches did show up and just wander around aimlessly.\u00a0 Is it reasonable to think that a coach might happen to pass by just when your athlete is making the play of the day?\u00a0 And, even if that happens, does it make any sense that due to one play seen in a walk-by viewing that the coach would stop, wait until the contest is finished, and then approach the coach to get your athlete’s info not knowing if he or she has the grades to qualify or the resume to play at their level?\u00a0 No, it does not make sense.<\/p>\n

So, here you are.\u00a0 All the things the local pundits or so-called experts told you about recruiting and how it really works turns out to be crap.\u00a0 And who’s suffered?\u00a0 Your athlete.<\/p>\n

Go through and pass our evaluation process, which is not a cakewalk, and then enroll with NSR and you will find a new world open to your child.\u00a0 More schools than you could have imagined will respond.\u00a0 Letters and emails will start flowing.\u00a0 It will be exciting, fun and the experience of a lifetime for your child.<\/p>\n

Or, you could keep doing what you’re doing and getting the same results.\u00a0 It’s your call.<\/p>\n
