National Scouting Report<\/strong>\u00a0softball prospect alums, freshman Kelsey Donahue<\/a><\/strong> and junior Kara Dickinson<\/a><\/strong> are the leading hitters for Florida Tech\u00a0University after the first 19 games the season.\u00a0 Their NSR<\/strong> scout, Dave Johnson, AD for North Central Florida<\/a><\/strong>, tells us that the duo are tearing it up as teammates.\u00a0 Kelsey is hitting .429 in and Kara has a .412\u00a0average with four\u00a0 doubles, a\u00a0triple and 27 total bases.\u00a0 Against Dominican College, Kelsey, from Palm Coast, Fla., led the the Panthers with a 4-for-5 day at the plate.\u00a0 In the season opener, she ended the game by making a spectacular diving catch to rob Northwood\u2019s Erica Yunka of at least a single.\u00a0 Against natonal power Flagler, Kara, from\u00a0Deland, Fla.,\u00a0led the Panthers with four hits in six at-bats.\u00a0 Florida Tech was selected a 2010-11 National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-Academic Team turning in a 3.16 team GPA last year.\u00a0 Both Kelsey\u00a0and Kara major in Business Administration.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
