NSR Is On the Ground with Our Clients<\/strong><\/p>\n

At NSR we revel in our prospects' successes because we know them as people, not as numbers. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Each day we get stories in about current and former NSR prospects who are\u00a0doing the right things\u00a0in their sport and in the classroom.\u00a0 And nothing could make us more proud.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

At NSR we take the time to actually scout high school talent.\u00a0 We get to know them as student-athletes and as people.\u00a0\u00a0Conducting business this way allows our\u00a0OTG (on-the-ground) scouts and AD’s (Area Directors)\u00a0a unique insight into these\u00a0youngsters as they strive to reach their dream of participating in college athletics and to live their dream when they are on a\u00a0team at the next level.\u00a0 Our approach\u00a0has become atypical in\u00a0college recruiting where prospects can\u00a0upload their\u00a0profiles on any number of free\u00a0Web sites or\u00a0sign with what are essentially telemarketing sites, both of which are\u00a0far less\u00a0effective in getting prospects noticed and recruited than our time-proven methods of personally vetting high school\u00a0athletes.\u00a0<\/p>\n

It seems that\u00a0a company which\u00a0has the name “scouting” in their name that they would have enough dignity to\u00a0really scout their\u00a0kids whose parents lay down\u00a0a lot of money for the little results they get.\u00a0\u00a0 But, to these companies, it’s not really about the kids, it’s all about quotas.\u00a0\u00a0They could\u00a0not care less if a prospect is a viable college recruit.\u00a0\u00a0Quotas — that’s the deal.\u00a0<\/p>\n

And, when one of their prospects shines\u00a0in high school or college, who cares?\u00a0 In fact, how would they know?\u00a0 To these “cubicle counselors,” it’s on to the next prospects who will help put another notch on\u00a0their monthly, yes, quota.\u00a0 Without the personal\u00a0connection with\u00a0someone who knows the prospect, who lives near them and who follows them with keen interest,\u00a0what are\u00a0the kids left with other than a Web site and bucket\u00a0full of hope?<\/p>\n

When we receive\u00a0the stories about our prospects’ successes, it comes from our scouts, not from\u00a0the newspaper or parents.\u00a0 The scouts are the ones who are\u00a0there to see them\u00a0win, garner awards and reap the benefits of their hard work.\u00a0 Our\u00a0prospects’ stories and their lives are meaningful to us at NSR because we are on the\u00a0ground with them, not in an office filled with telephones pounding out phone calls to the next\u00a0family.\u00a0<\/p>\n

And, you\u00a0know what?\u00a0 We like it that\u00a0way.\u00a0 We like it just fine.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
