Are college coaches finding, evaluating, contacting and recruiting you?<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Recruiting starts with recognition.\u00a0 That is, college coaches must identify you first before they can evaluate you.\u00a0 Being on a travel or\u00a0club team is not enough.\u00a0 Winning your conference title is not enough.\u00a0 Making\u00a0the state playoffs?\u00a0 Nope.\u00a0 Making All-Conference?\u00a0 No, again.\u00a0<\/p>\n

There is a huge amount of competition for college roster spots, so coaches\u00a0gravitate toward the\u00a0athletes whose profiles and videos are\u00a0the most accessible to them.\u00a0 Is your information and video\u00a0readily accessible?\u00a0 Readily accessible means, by the way, that coaches\u00a0can get to\u00a0what they need\u00a0when they\u00a0need it.\u00a0 Are you mailing the info to coaches yourself?\u00a0 If so, what about when these coaches are on the road or at home during the summertime or in the off-season.\u00a0 Are they lugging your info around with all the other athletes who have chose this outdated way to get coaches’ attention?\u00a0<\/p>\n

Your data should be in a secure, trusted place where coaches actually go to\u00a0evaluate prospects.\u00a0\u00a0That is NOT sitting on the floor in the coaches’ offices, nor is it on free\u00a0recruiting sites.\u00a0\u00a0 Coaches have stacks and stacks of info to go through.\u00a0\u00a0 Think they see it all?\u00a0 As for the free sites,\u00a0they simply do not offer coaches what they need to properly evaluate you.\u00a0 Not enough info.\u00a0 Not enough video.\u00a0 Not enough.<\/p>\n

There is a big difference between what\u00a0these free sites do and what National Scouting Report does.\u00a0\u00a0Need help?\u00a0 Try calling\u00a0or emailing these sites.\u00a0 See what happens.\u00a0\u00a0Want to post new info or video?\u00a0 Try it.\u00a0 What you get is what coaches get which is a less-than-adequate\u00a0response.\u00a0 No personalize service.\u00a0 No one on the other end who knows you and is interested in the outcome.\u00a0 There is no good reason to post your profile and video on these sites.<\/p>\n
