Coaches Recruit the Best Athletes They Know About<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/a><\/a>\"\"<\/a>Want to grab the attention of college coaches at a club or travel tournament?\u00a0 Go to the middle of the floor, field or track.\u00a0 Then, jump up and down while screaming your head off.\u00a0 That should do it.\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

But, that’s not the kind of attention you’re wanting, right?\u00a0 What you really want is for coaches to recognize you as a legitimate athlete.\u00a0 You want coaches to see you as a prospect who stands out in the crowd.\u00a0 Then, you want coaches to stop, watch and evaluate you.\u00a0 Do I have it right?\u00a0 Thought so.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Well, how do you plan to make that happen?\u00a0 You’re not going for the jump-up-and-down-screaming method, I suppose.\u00a0 So, unless you are an NSR prospect, you are left with hoping that a college coach happens to walk by just as you make the play of your life, lace a double to left-center, nail a pull-up jumper in heavy traffic, fire a baseline shot by an opponent at the net.\u00a0 On and on we could go.\u00a0 The point is that unless coaches know about you beforehand and go to these “showcases” specifically to\u00a0evaluate you, there is little\u00a0chance that you will\u00a0get noticed among the throngs of other very good athletes a the events.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Not even a strange uniform or hair color will get you evaluated by college coaches.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

You aren’t allowed to wear a uniform that stands out from all the others.\u00a0 You can’t run around on stilts, put giant springs on your feet or yell into a megaphone every time you do something cool.\u00a0 In the end, you are stuck with this dilemma:\u00a0 How can I get coaches to give me a shot at a scholarship?\u00a0<\/p>\n

Doing what you have been doing, and what everybody else is doing, isn’t working, right?\u00a0 How many questionnaires do you have from college coaches?\u00a0 One, two, five?\u00a0 You should have a\u00a0 stack of them.\u00a0 And, why don’t you?\u00a0 Because\u00a0college coaches don’t \u00a0know about you!\u00a0<\/p>\n

You’re putting in the practice time, made a travel or club team, travel from tournament to tournament, and your profile is even sitting on a nice large table at all the events for coaches to pick up.\u00a0 Oh, and there are about\u00a0a hundred of more of these profiles blowing around the table, too.\u00a0 All this means is that you are doing nothing special to be seen.<\/p>\n
