Leads Athletes Directly to Scholarship Offers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Coaches Dream of Finding These Hard-working Student-athletes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.nsr-inc.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Hustle-2.jpg\"><\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.nsr-inc.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Hustle-5.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-3179\" title=\"Hustle 5\" src=\"\/\/blog.nsr-inc.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Hustle-5.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"374\" height=\"244\" \/><\/a>Which &#8220;handle&#8221; do you want attached to a description of you as an athlete?\u00a0 Smart?\u00a0 Not bad.\u00a0 Athletic?\u00a0 That&#8217;s good, too.\u00a0 Team player?\u00a0 Another good one.\u00a0 But, when you add the word <em>hustle<\/em> to those descriptive terms, you have put the icing on the cake for college coaches.\u00a0 You have also separated yourself from dozens of other prospects.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Coaches can deal with a prospect&#8217;s\u00a0lack of athleticism in some areas,\u00a0game knowledge\u00a0or even selfishness, that is,\u00a0as long as at the foundation of that kid&#8217;s talent is\u00a0consistent hustle.\u00a0 To a large number of college coaches,\u00a0hustle can trump most other desirable traits.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>On the flip side, tell a coach that there&#8217;s a great athlete available who possesses everything a coach needs except that the kid is lazy, and that coach will pass nearly every time.\u00a0 College athletics are hard on athletes.\u00a0 They require a\u00a0student-athlete to be so much more than when in high school.\u00a0 Personal management,\u00a0academic dedication and hours upon hours of\u00a0individual and team workouts over the course of the school year are the demands\u00a0place on any college student-athlete.\u00a0 If a coach\u00a0recruits a lazy kid, the time spent with the kid can\u00a0seem endless as well as fruitless for a coaching staff.\u00a0\u00a0 It&#8217;s a miserable experience.\u00a0 But, give those same coaches an athlete who walks in the door every day giving 100%, the kid who guts it out each practice,\u00a0and who truly wants to get better, then the joy of coaching can\u00a0be extremely rewarding and everybody&#8217;s happy.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.nsr-inc.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Hustle-6.jpg\"><\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.nsr-inc.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Hustle-61.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-3183\" title=\"Hustle 6\" src=\"\/\/blog.nsr-inc.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Hustle-61.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"337\" height=\"263\" \/><\/a>Hustle comes in degrees.\u00a0 Some kids will hustle when the need arises.\u00a0 Let&#8217;s call that 30% or 30H.\u00a0 These kids walk and jog more than they run.\u00a0 Other kids will hustle only\u00a0when they know somebody is watching them.\u00a0 We&#8217;ll call that 50% or 50H.\u00a0 In games, they will be the ones to slack off on defense or when the play doesn&#8217;t involve them.\u00a0 These kids will cause a team to get burned badly in some tough situations.\u00a0 They take more plays off than they do on.\u00a0 Then there are the most-time kids.\u00a0 We&#8217;ll put them at 70% or 70H.\u00a0 They hustle just about all the time unless they are losing a game or it&#8217;s near the end of practice.\u00a0 They take the occasional play off during a game or match.\u00a0\u00a0It&#8217;s\u00a0unlikely that they will hurt the team very often, but they will lose focus enough times to keep a\u00a0team from making a serious run.\u00a0 Finally, there&#8217;s the kid whose motor is incapable of slowing down.\u00a0 This the 100% or 100H kid.\u00a0 When\u00a0he or she hits the floor, field or court, they are\u00a0on go.\u00a0 Practice or game, it matters not.\u00a0 This kid will wear a coach out, too.\u00a0 Accustomed as coaches are to players whose tendencies are to slough off every now and again, this kid makes coaches earn their salaries.\u00a0 And, it&#8217;s fun.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.nsr-inc.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Hustle-7.jpg\"><\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.nsr-inc.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Hustle-71.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-3187\" title=\"Hustle 7\" src=\"\/\/blog.nsr-inc.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Hustle-71.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"361\" height=\"286\" \/><\/a>The characteristics of hustling athlete are really very simple to pick out.\u00a0 Their energy is higher than the other players in warm-ups.\u00a0 Their intensity level reaches the ready level quicker than other kids in the game.\u00a0 They are mentally capable of high-level involvement in what&#8217;s expected of them far longer than other players.\u00a0 They go full bore from whistle to whistle, serve to point, start to finish.\u00a0 And, their energy transfers over to the other team\u00a0members helping to make the team a more efficient-running, dynamic\u00a0machine.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>College coaches dream of finding these kids.\u00a0 When one comes across their desk or they\u00a0discover one at a travel or club event, coaches will knock over waiting grandparents for a chance to speak to the kids&#8217; coaches.\u00a0\u00a0Giving it all is what the coaches\u00a0see\u00a0in these kids and the coaches desperately want the opportunity to work with them\u00a0every day for four years.\u00a0 It&#8217;s not just the team winning thing\u00a0which matters to the coaches.\u00a0 It&#8217;s a\u00a0deeply personal thing.\u00a0 As a prospect, if you want to be in that position, then hustle every day, every workout, every practice, every game, match or meet.\u00a0 Opportunities of a lifetime will come your way.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Coaches Dream of Finding These Hard-working Student-athletes Which &#8220;handle&#8221;
