Against Colorado, Landry had his biggest passing day ever as a Sooner.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Oklahoma QB and former NSR prospect Landry Jones<\/strong> <\/a>cemented his position as one of the Sooner’s all-time great signal callers on Saturday.\u00a0 Landry took to the air in record fashion in a 43 to 10 mauling of\u00a0the Colorado Buffaloes<\/a> in Norman.\u00a0 Throwing for a career-high 453 yards and four touchdowns, Landry’s total was the second-best in school history, behind only Sam Bradford’s 468 against Kansas in his 2008 Heisman Trophy season.\u00a0 Combined with backup Drew Allen’s 35 yards, the Sooners broke the school record for passing set on Bradford’s biggest day.<\/p>\n

Through eight games, Landry’s stats put him with the very best in NCAA FBS signal callers.\u00a0 To date he\u00a0has 227 completions in 338\u00a0passing attempts with\u00a021 touchdowns and only five interceptions and a QB rating of 148.00.\u00a0\u00a0Landry is averaging 318.4 yards per game and has a 67.2 completion percentage.\u00a0<\/p>\n
