It doesn\u2019t matter how prestigious your club is\u2014if college coaches don\u2019t know who you are, you\u2019re not getting recruited. You could be playing for the most elite club in your region, traveling every weekend, and wearing all the right gear, but if your name isn\u2019t on a coach\u2019s radar, it won\u2019t move the needle. Recruiting starts with being identified, recognized, and evaluated by college programs\u2014not simply by being on a well-known roster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And here\u2019s another tough reality: if you\u2019re on a great team but never see the court, it doesn\u2019t matter. College coaches aren\u2019t offering scholarships based on what team name is on your jersey\u2014they want to see you play. Sitting the bench on a top team doesn\u2019t showcase your skills, your athleticism, or your potential. Coaches want to evaluate game film, see your competitive energy, and watch how you perform under pressure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the end of the day, the best club is the one that helps you grow, develop, and earn meaningful playing time while giving you opportunities to compete against strong competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Real exposure doesn\u2019t happen just by showing up at big tournaments. College coaches are there to watch athletes they\u2019ve already identified and evaluated\u2014not to discover new ones at random. Sending out mass emails before an event isn\u2019t enough to get on their radar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Exposure happens when you\u2019re put in front of the right coaches at the right times\u2014not by chasing prestigious events. Don\u2019t confuse playing at \u201cexposure tournaments\u201d with actually being recruited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
