{"id":14503,"date":"2017-06-08T05:05:02","date_gmt":"2017-06-08T10:05:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nsr-inc.com\/scouting-news\/?p=14503"},"modified":"2017-06-07T16:32:27","modified_gmt":"2017-06-07T21:32:27","slug":"2019-d2-prospects","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nsr-inc.com\/scouting-news\/2019-d2-prospects\/","title":{"rendered":"2019 D2 Prospects to Lift-Off June 15"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>2019 D2 prospects expecting to sign NCAA scholarships are poised for June 15.<\/p>\n<p>That is when <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ncaa.org\/d2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Division II<\/a> coaches in all sports can call and text prospects. \u00a0It is unquestionably a date every\u00a0prospect\u00a0anticipates as a lift-off point in their recruiting. \u00a0That is every well-informed prospect. \u00a0Sadly, there remain loads of rising juniors oblivious to the importance of June 15. \u00a0As a result, most will miss out on an enormous chance to get in line ahead of their competing, fellow prospects.<\/p>\n<h2>For 2019 D2 prospects a head start counts<\/h2>\n<p>For diligent, informed 2019 D2 prospects, June 15 marks the beginning of the\u00a0real recruiting process. \u00a0Their advisors, recruiting experts, have guided them well. \u00a0See, having a reliable, knowledgeable, and savvy, recruiting expert pays big dividends. \u00a0These prospects&#8217; names are known to D2 coaches. \u00a0Their company&#8217;s promotional apparatus has sent letters and emails, both invaluable heads-up tools for college coaches. Additionally, prospects&#8217; Websites are available 24\/7 for coaches to view. \u00a0There,\u00a0coaching staffs watch video, check grades, and pour over stats.\u00a0And they can do this anywhere, anytime. With limited recruiting budgets, this access is irreplaceable.<\/p>\n<p>Most importantly, this availability of accurate info gives prospects a clear head start over other 2019 D2 prospects. \u00a0It is an advantage of resources and time. \u00a0Catching up is a hard, uphill climb. \u00a0It&#8217;s a task few accomplish in today&#8217;s recruiting environment.<\/p>\n<h2>June 15th opens doors<\/h2>\n<p>Prior to June 15, NCAA Division II coaches and their prized prospects are handcuffed. \u00a0Limits exist in how and when they can communicate. \u00a0The NCAA makes certain of that. \u00a0For the most part, unless a prospect is on a coach&#8217;s campus, they cannot communicate. \u00a0No texts, emails or phone calls. \u00a0At events, they may recognize one another with a passing &#8220;hello,&#8221; but nothing else.<\/p>\n<p>The NCAA makes it very difficult, to say the least.<\/p>\n<p>But when this June 15 arrives, it&#8217;s on for both Division II coaches and 2019 D2 prospects. \u00a0The doors open. \u00a0Unlimited communications\u00a0start. \u00a0There are exceptions, of course, but for the most part, both parties, including parents, can get in the mix. \u00a0It is pretty much a free-for-all at that point.<\/p>\n<p>The collective sigh of relief can be heard across the Division II recruiting landscape.<\/p>\n<p><em>Note: \u00a0Author Alan Parham is a 14-year-veteran high school scout for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nsr-inc.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">National Scouting Report<\/a>. \u00a0NSR\u00a0is America\u2019s oldest, largest and most respected scouting organization. \u00a0He currently serves as the company\u2019s NCAA and NAIA Compliance Manager.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>2019 D2 prospects expecting to sign NCAA scholarships are poised for June 15.
