Everyone should be so lucky as to sit in a room full of new NSR scouts in training.<\/p>\n

With our home office team pouring over 1,000-plus candidates monthly, a daunting task to be sure, just being chosen makes them singularly qualified.<\/p>\n

Like with our prospects, NSR is not an open enrollment company for aspiring scouts. We hand pick every person with the same care and attention to detail used to single out NSR high school prospects.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Only a few applicants make the grade.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Our most recent training class brought together a group that arrived as individuals but emerged as a cohesive team. Bent on executing NSR’s legendary Scout Game Plan, the group was comprised of an impressive list of men and women whose backgrounds had a\u00a0glaring, common characteristic – passion for helping young athletes.<\/p>\n

A bird’s eye view revealed the diversity NSR attracts. It was, in fact, a reflection of America itself – a melting pot of races, ethnicities and backgrounds. From a former D-I college quarterback to a retired Army PhD;\u00a0a Marine veteran with a law degree to a youth minister who played D-III baseball; a career software sales executive to someone who worked on ESPN’s international team, these talented people were intent to learn how to effectively identify, evaluate and enroll college quality student-athletes.<\/p>\n

Hailing from nearly every corner of America, by week’s end\u00a0they would be headed back to scout in their own communities. These certified college scouts, like so many others working across the country, will positively change the lives of untold young athletes and their families.<\/p>\n

Know that when you see an NSR scout, he or she has passed through the gauntlet to be chosen specifically to represent the world’s premier on-the-ground scouting organization. They are NSR.<\/p>\n
