NSR, the nation\u2019s oldest and largest high school scouting and college recruiting organization, reported a successful launching Tuesday of Evolution 2.0, an upgrade of its state-of-the-art, interactive portal system for its 200 on-the-ground scouts and thousands of college prospects.<\/p>\n

NSR president Rusty Rigney said Evolution 2.0 will be a “roadmap to success” for prospects and parents.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Coming nine months after the original, Evolution 2.0 adds four promotional tools — regional, brochure, video and DVD — to the portal system that will help NSR prospects eliminate paperwork and speed up interaction with college coaches. Each tool appears at the top of the prospects\u2019 dashboards.<\/p>\n

Instead of filling out paper forms, NSR prospects can target specific schools for promotional material online. That includes choosing regions, schools and dates for regional searches; up to 100 schools and dates for annual brochure mailings; up to 100 schools and dates for emailed video links; and up to 20 schools and dates for DVD mailings.<\/p>\n

NSR prospects can check their dashboards to see what needs to be done each year, when to do it and when everything has been completed.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a roadmap to success,\u201d NSR president Rusty Rigney said. \u201cOur prospects and parents will know what they need to do and when they need to do it. Our scouts will be able to serve our prospects more efficiently because they will have access to the same promotional tools.\u201d<\/p>\n

Prospects received emails this week outlining the changes. They also will receive email reminders two weeks in advance of their mailing dates and again two days in advance, so they can make any last-minute changes.<\/p>\n
