Mike
was raised in the greater Seattle area and graduated from Blanchet High
School in 1980. Mike was an all-around athlete and attended Seattle University
and graduated with a B.A. in Business Administration and Finance in 1984. Mike has been involved in all levels of basketball training and coaching and returned in 1995 from 7 years of coaching men's and women's professional basketball in Europe. He is a scratch golfer and a sports junkie at all levels! Mike is married to a professional basketball player and a University of Washington Husky Hall of Famer (Karen Murray). Mike and Karen have three daughters (Hayley, Delaney, and Braydey) that keep them very active in sports. Mike's association with National Scouting Report began in late 1995. He is committed to seeing that all qualified student-athletes get the opportunities they deserve to participate at the next level. Getting recruited today is very difficult and without proper exposure a student-athlete's chances of being recruited are severely diminished. It is time that the student-athlete take the proactive approach to recruiting and help themselves gain an edge on their competition. |
