To Whom It May Concern:
As an experienced business professional and former Providence College Basketball player 1982-1986 I bring a value added philosophy that will enhance the overall development of the student- athletes who participates in Rhode Island high school sports. I strongly believe thru athletics one can learn many life lessons that will prepare one self to meet the many challenges that lie ahead in the game of life.
Thru athletics one learns the true meaning of hard work, self-discipline, sacrifice, respectfulness, integrity, teamwork, goal setting and many other components that make up the ingredients to have a successful career in life.
Academics is my number one priority, followed by personal development . The philosophy in which I believe in and implement is one that is lead by Rick Pitino (Head Coach University of Louisville).
Having been exposed to the coaching skills of one of the TOP College coaches in the country (As a college player 1985-1986) I would bring this experience to my everyday job which will ultimately have a positive impact on the High School Student-Athletes that I work with.
I look forward to the opportunity to verbally express my interest and ideas and philosophy with the appropriate administrator , Student Athlete and Family.
Regards!
Donny Brown

Brian joined National Scouting Report of Rhode Island in March 2005. His goal has been to bring recognition to Rhode Island Student-Athletes and advise them and their parents about the college recruiting process.
Brian brings his background and experience as a former Rhode Island High School Student-Athlete, college baseball player and coach. His first hand knowledge regarding the lack of recognition R.I. Student-Athletes receive from colleges drives his pursuit to help as many Student-Athletes realize their dreams of playing at the college level and makes him a great compliment to our team.

I am very excited to be part of the National Scouting Report team. I have first hand experience how beneficial this program is for student athletes and their families. My daughter came into this program as a high school honor student and a multi sport matelote with a few choice colleges she wanted to attend. After our first meeting with her National Scouting Report Consultant, she became more focused in her academics and more determined as an matelote to excel in both. Why? She had realized that her few choices for colleges had now turned in to few hundred colleges she could now choose from. Her mother and I were ecstatic because we realized that the time it would take for us to contact 3-5 colleges, we could now contact over two hundred colleges in less then half the time. Wow, unbelieveable...no, very believable. National Scouting Report works. National Scouting Report delivers. National Scouting report is a great investment. It helped us, it will help you. Her mother and I are very proud to say our daughter is attending Roanoke College in Virginia. Not because it was one of her first few choices, because it was one of the first colleges that contacted her. Oh by the way, it was also a perfect match for her major and her desire to continue in athletics.
