  1. Coaches are needed to assist in both sessions.  Email dbrown@nsr-inc.com if you are interested in working that day.
  2. Players will be evaluated on a rating score sheet based on their performance for each session of the showcase.
  3. All instruction sessions will be video taped.
  4. The tape will be edited into separate sections: (Batting, Infield / Outfield, Pitching / catching, cutoff footwork and arm strength captured and running.)
  5. Around Thanksgiving over 50 edited versions will be mailed out on VHS or DVD format to College Softball Coaches throughout the Northeast. Div I - III
  6. Numbered sweatshirts will be supplied to participants, this will assist college coaches with identify participants.
  7. College Coaches will be able to contact National Scouting Report in Rhode Island to inquire about a specific athlete who participated in the showcase. Release and injury waiver forms must be signed by parents.
  8. NSRRI will forward the athletes contact information to the College Coach requesting it.
  9. Any 9th – 12th grade softball player is eligible to participate.
  10. Please note that the early signing period for Div I – Div. II high school softball student athletes begins November 7 – 9, 2005
  11. If you have 12th grade players that have not signed with any colleges during this period, and desire to play in college, it would be in their best interest to this College Coaches Video Showcase.
  12. Division III programs do not offer athletic scholarship monies.  However, they do have Merit base and achievement awards that are granted to student athletes that meet the specific College Institution academic criteria.
  13. Please forward this email with attachment to any and all of you players who have a desire to continue playing at the College Level.
  14. We have a 10 day open registration for any players who wish to participate. After the deadline, this event will be a National Scouting Report Invitation Only”.
