Edward McGrady and the staff at NSR is dedicated to finding scholarship opportunities for athletes in the NEPA area that possess the talent, desire, and motivation to compete at the collegiate level. We provide athletic evaluations, academic guidance, and an in depth education on the recruiting process. Upon successful evaluation and qualification into our program, National Scouting Report will provide the appropriate link between the student athlete and the 2,000 plus colleges and universities across the country.

Ed has been coaching ice hockey for thirty years and is a advance carded coach with USA Hockey, having coached from mite age to college. Ed has recruited at the college level in both men's and women's ice hockey and was also the advisor, and information and promotions officer for the ice hockey team at William Paterson College during the 1983 thru 1985 season, where he won a division title in his first season coaching college Ice Hockey. Ed also coached the Rutgers Women's Ice Hockey team in 2003 thru 2005, which played as a independent.

In 1991 Ed was the General Manager of the New Jersey / Philadelphia based franchise in the newly forming Colonial Professional Hockey League and was elected to the position of league treasurer. The New Jersey franchise was unable to secure a lease agreement with a New Jersey or Philadelphia arena and ceased operations, and he resigned as league treasurer.

Edward tried out for the 1976 United States Olympic Ice Hockey Team in Boston, Massachusetts. He then was invited to training camp for the Hampton Aces of the Eastern Hockey League in Hampton, Virginia in 1982, and in 1983 was invited to the Richmond Rifles training camp, but instead Edward retired from playing hockey after being released by the Aces and started his career in coaching.

Ed is listed in Outstanding Young Men in America (1988), and has had articles published in the Hockey Coaching Journal.
