It’s All About the Kids!

You have visited this website because as a student athlete or a parent of a student athlete, you wish to better understand what it takes to be able to earn an athletic scholarship or grant to pursue the dream of participating in a varsity sport that will allow you or your child to help defray the cost of a college education. While nothing is better than communicating one on one, the following pages are designed to help educate you in the recruiting process so that when we do get to speak, you will have a clearer understanding of the necessary steps that need to be taken to help fulfill that dream.

Our program is about two words: OPPORTUNITY and OPTIONS.

Parents: A scholarship to attend a college or university to participate in athletics could be worth as much as $50,000 to $150,000. The business influence as the result of being a college athlete could be worth many times this amount. However, it’s not just about the money.

In fact, your son or daughter is probably going to go to college regardless of whether or not a scholarship is offered. Even if you have to make the necessary sacrifices to pay for it. It’s about a very important DREAM. A dream that your son or daughter has of going to a good college with a chance to participate in that schools athletic program.

It’s also about Opportunity. Your child was not born a great athlete. It took years of hard work, training, dedication and desire to become what he or she is today. If your son or daughter’s hard work on the field and in the classroom has allowed them to reach the elite status, you should feel fortunate. Reality is that only a small percentage of people who participate in athletics get to this level. Now the Opportunity has come to finally make this entire effort payoff…to make the dream come true.

It’s also about Options. Choosing which college to attend is not that different than choosing a vocation and an employer. The more Options available, the more likely one is to have a correct fit. For many of our prospects, this benefit alone supersedes all other considerations. Let’s not forget the real goal: Getting an education at the best possible university that will allow your son or daughter to be better prepared to succeed. Whether your child’s dream is to play for the hometown college or to go half-way across the country, the greater the numbers of college coaches who know about them and have a desire to have them attend their university; the greater is your strength in negotiating. Make no mistake; pursuing an athletic or academic scholarship is just like pursuing a job. There are a multitude of competitors looking to fulfill the same positions. How one goes about promoting and presenting oneself will make a major difference. If you think it is as simple as having your son or daughter simply perform well on the playing field and the offers will come, think again.

NSR can not guarantee a scholarship. However, we can guarantee that the opportunity will not be missed. We’re the very best in the world at what we do. We only represent highly qualified students, period. We will put forth all our efforts and give all of our support to that student. If your child is accepted and deserves this opportunity, we’re asking that you also give your support by enrolling them in our program. It is a sacrifice, but it is one that you will not regret.
