NSR scouts are on the field in Southeast Wisconsin!
NSR prides itself on having scouts on the ground across the country and around the world, checking out our prospects firsthand and making sure they are the quality athletes that we are proud to represent. If you see a NSR Scout at your next event, be sure to ask them any questions you may have about college recruiting and how NSR can help secure the futures of young athletes.
You can also contact Jason Lauren, our Area Director, to schedule a scout visit to an event in order to evaluate an athlete by calling (414) 303-7607.
You only have one opportunity to get recruited. Why leave it to chance?

Having joined NSR in November of 2011, David is the area scout for southeast Wisconsin track and field and cross country. He is a life-long runner, competing in both cross country and track while in middle school, high school and college. At Manitowoc Lincoln High School in Wisconsin, he was a two-time state champion in the mile. He continued his running career at Marquette University where he was a two-time NCAA D1 All-American in indoor track and also set several indoor and outdoor school records. He has been inducted into the Manitowoc Lincoln Wall of Fame as well as the Marquette University Hall of Fame. After two years of competitive running while living in Boulder, Colo., and competing for Team Adidas, David returned to Marquette University, where he began a 19-year career as the men's and women's cross country and track and field coach. During his coaching tenure, he received 23 conference coach of the year awards for his various teams, as well as the Conference USA coach of the decade for women's cross country. He and his wife of 19 years, Toni Uhrich, reside in Wauwatosa, Wis., with their two children, Steffen and CeCe. Both Steffen and CeCe compete on the cross country and track and field teams for Wauwatosa East High School, along with being active in many other sports over the years. After being part of the college recruiting process as both a high school student-athlete and a collegiate coach, David is thrilled to be helping others to reach their goal of becoming collegiate student-athletes.
