NSR is recruiting in Southeast Wisconsin!
Jason Lauren and the staff at NSR is dedicated to finding scholarship opportunities for athletes in Southeast Wisconsin that possess the talent, desire, and motivation to compete at the collegiate level. We provide athletic evaluations, academic guidance, and an in depth education on the recruiting process. Upon successful evaluation and qualification into our program, National Scouting Report will provide the appropriate link between the student athlete and the 2,000 plus colleges and universities across the country.
Jason is the Area Director of southeast Wisconsin, covering Milwaukee, Washington, Ozaukee, Waukesha, Racine and Kenosha counties. He has been with NSR since February 2008 and has helped dozens of southeast Wisconsin athletes earn scholarships to play in college. Jason is a former award-winning sports journalist, a 12-year career which allowed him to talk to and build relationships with numerous student-athletes, coaches and athletic directors. Prior to joining NSR, he was a sports copy editor/reporter for the Green Bay Press-Gazette, covering hockey in the area. He also wrote a self-syndicated fantasy football column, which appeared in several newspapers across the country, including the Chicago Tribune. Jason's first job out of college was at The Journal-Standard in Freeport, Ill. There he started as a sports reporter, covering area high schools, before becoming the newspaper's sports editor. Jason earned a B.S. degree in entrepreneurship with a minor in journalism in 2000 at Northern Michigan University in Marquette, Mich. He graduated in 1995 from Westwood High School in Ishpeming, Mich., playing varsity hockey and tennis. Jason's hockey team made the Midget AA state tournament in his senior year and his tennis team won the school's first conference title in his junior season.
