high school team there was a good chance that college recruiters would know
it, and the player would probably get a scholarship offer. Some coaches
still believe this. The fact is, recruiting has changed considerably over
the last few years, and today, just because the player is good and capable
of playing at the college level, that doesn't mean offers will be made.
The competition for that scholarship is fierce and colleges are not just
looking at local players, they are recruiting on a national basis. It takes
more than just knowing about the player or a coach's recommendation. The
purpose of National Scouting Report is to provide extensive scouting and
promotional services to both the student-athlete and the college coaches,
in order to ensure maximum scholarship recognition. We are the only company
