NSR scouts are on the field in San Bernardino!
NSR prides itself on having scouts on the ground across the country and around the world, checking out our prospects firsthand and making sure they are the quality athletes that we are proud to represent. If you see a NSR Scout at your next event, be sure to ask them any questions you may have about college recruiting and how NSR can help secure the futures of young athletes.
You can also contact Frank Steele, our Area Director, to schedule a scout visit to an event in order to evaluate an athlete by calling (760) 887-2418.
You only have one opportunity to get recruited. Why leave it to chance?
Ian O'Connor
Area Scout
Ian O'Connor was born and raised in the San Bernardino area. He received student-athlete honors throughout high school playing baseball for Redlands East Valley. Ian grew up a competitive swimmer and eventually was fortunate enough to play 4 years of college baseball and receive his B.S. in Kinesiology from CSUSB in the spring of 2011. He has played with 2 current major leaguers as well as numerous minor league and independent league athletes. Ian knows what it takes to get to the next level and wants to help each athlete maximize his or her potential. He has worked several skill camps for high school aged kids and younger. He specializes in physical training and also has an affinity for sports psychology. He realizes that an athlete will only get to the top by mastering the mental side of the game along with the physical. Ian is here to help young athletes get the most out of their student-athlete experience as well as answer most any question about the benefits and sacrifices that come with playing competitive college athletics.
