The
importance of setting goals has always been strongly encouraged.
Priorities are critical in setting goals, and with college
coming up, it is important to evaluate your priorities and
make new goals. The two most important things in my life
are my faith and my relationship with my family. Both influences
stress the importance of getting an education, so my first
priority is to do well academically. My next priority is
to excel on the football field, with a goal of playing college
football.
Ever since I started playing at the varsity level as a sophomore, I’ve pushed myself to constantly get better. During the off-season I am consistently active in speed and weight training. I hope to increase my bench maximum to 260 pounds, my squat maximum to 360 pounds and my power clean maximum to 240 pounds by the beginning of the season. I also hope to run a 4.8 forty.
I hope to be first or second on the team in tackles and be an honorable mention for the All-North team. My main goal is to lead our team to a state championship.
