The Hartford Golf Club is a private 1350 member country club centrally located in West Hartford, CT. It maintains clubhouse, golf and pool facilities and its racquet sports include nine har-tru tennis courts, four international squash courts, and six platform tennis courts.

Responsible for all aspects of the tennis program including budgeting, staffing, program scheduling and maintenance.
• Junior and Adult clinics increased over 50% from 2000 to 2004.

• Started & coached 5 USTA Women’s Teams including creating the 2.5 level in Northern, CT
• Developed and successfully executed International, Regional and local events at the HGC

BACKGROUND
George Baker, of Ellington, Connecticut, recently joined NSR CT, LLC as Area Director to fulfill a dream of working in the sporting community. George’s mission is to work with talented high school student athletes to achieve their dream of playing college sports and to assist families in obtaining scholarships for their children.
George graduated from Western New England College School of Law in 1989 and passed the Connecticut Bar in December of 1989. George Baker began his career as an attorney at the Law Firm of DuBeau, Ryan & Boyan, P.C. in Vernon, Connecticut He served as Tolland Probate Judge from 1995 – 1998. After serving as Probate Judge, George practiced law at Levy & Droney, P.C., in Farmington, Connecticut beginning in 1999 until leaving the practice of law last year to pursue his career at NSR.
George also worked as an executive recruiter for Management Search, Inc. of East Hartford where he placed high level executives in companies throughout New England.
George sports background includes the following:
Currently serves as team manager for the Northeast United Premier Soccer U14 Girls team for the 2006-2007 season, and served as team manager for the Northeast United U13 Girls team in 2005-2006.
