Having coached for many years in both school and competitive travel sports throughout Oklahoma, I saw firsthand how overwhelming and confusing the college recruiting process can be for athletes and their families. Recruiting is constantly evolving, and families need someone in their corner who understands the process, stays current on NCAA rules and recruiting trends, and knows how to effectively promote athletes to college coaches.That is why I became a college scout with NSR.Since becoming a scout, I have helped more than 200 student-athletes pursue their dream of playing at the college level across a wide range of sports, including volleyball, softball, soccer, football, swimming, lacrosse, golf, and more.My role goes far beyond simply helping athletes create a recruiting profile. I work with athletes and families to understand where they realistically fit at the college level, how and when to communicate with coaches, which camps and showcases are worth their time and investment, and how changes involving NCAA recruiting rules, NIL, roster limits, eligibility, and the Transfer Portal can impact their opportunities.Most importantly, I advocate for the athletes I represent. I was born and raised in Morris, Oklahoma, where I currently live and have raised my family. I played softball, basketball and golf in high school and went on to play softball at the JUCO and NCAA Division II levels. I was a team captain at both levels and received several honors at both as well. After completion I went on to coach High School softball for 14 years, where my teams were Regional Champs and State Qualifiers. While my daughter was in High School I left the coaching field to be able to enjoy her HS years, I am back to coaching HS softball this year. She is now a sophomore in college playing basketball at the NCAA Division II level, I also have a son in Pre-K! With both of my parents being coaches, that has fueled my love and passion for sports and mentoring athletes.

Brandy Belding brings a dept of knowledge in the sport of softball as a past collegiate player. Her oldest daughter also played at the NAIA level winning a National Championship. Her youngest daughter plays division 1 softball. She has been involved in the sport for over 30 years in some aspect. Brandy holds a Bachelor of Science in English as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Performance. As an educator, she is well trained in communication and building relationships.She is so excited and grateful to be a part of National Scouting Report and in making these young athletes dreams of playing in college become reality.

I wanted to become a scout because I enjoy being able to evaluate players and their tendencies in order to help build on their strengths and weaknesses. I want to help develop and provide high school athletes opportunities at the next level.Boys' Basketball Coach at Christian Heritage Academy (Assistant Varsity, Head Junior Varsity & Freshman) - Help build scouting reports on opponents, prepare the scout team, and track live stats during games as an assistant. As the Head Coach, it is my duty to emulate the principles of the program and prepare our players to face each opponent. Coach for Team Griffin Academy - tasked to help train and develop the skills of the players to get them to their next level.

Toby comes to us from the softball capital of the world, Oklahoma City. Toby brings with him 20 years of experience in the travel softball world. Toby has five competitive athletes in his family; Three of these being NSR prospects. Toby’s oldest daughter played Division II softball at Oklahoma Christian University. His oldest son, played Division II JUCO at Northern Oklahoma College in Enid Oklahoma.
Toby has a set of triplets; 2 boys and a girl. His daughter, currently an NSR prospect, plays for the Oklahoma Athletics National 2024 club team. This team recently won the HFL Championship and is ranked as one of the top 14U club teams in the nation.
Toby’s team goal is to use his previous knowledge in recruiting to lead and assist all of his NSR Athletes so that they have the opportunity to achieve their dream of playing college softball.

I was born and raised in McAlester, Oklahoma, where I currently live and raising my family. I play basketball in high school my senior year I was a McDonald's All-American Nominee for the state of Oklahoma. I furthered my basketball career and education at the NAIA level. I am currently the owner/operator of Swish City, which is a private basketball gym in located in McAlester, Oklahoma. I am also the Director of the Hustlers program which a youth basketball organization.

Jack Moulder was a division 3 basketball player for 4 years at Emmanuel College. He has experience as an assistant coach at the NAIA level. He also has been a head varsity coach and program director at the high school level. Jack benefited from scouts and coaches helping him find a school to play at in college, so he now has a passion of helping young athletes know all their options when it comes to finding the best fit for their college career. His coaching experience and relationship building experiences make him an ideal scout for anyone to work with.

Billy Nelson is a distinguished figure in American distance running, renowned for his achievements as both an elite athlete and a dedicated collegiate coach. Born on September 11, 1984, in Bakersfield, California, Nelson attended Taft Union High School before excelling at the University of Colorado, where he was part of the 2006 NCAA XC Championship team and became a six-time NCAA All-American. His accolades include two honors in cross country and four in track and field, with notable victories such as clinching the Big 12 Conference steeplechase title in both 2007 and 2008. Nelson's prowess in the 3,000-meter steeplechase earned him a spot on Team USA for the 2008 Beijing Olympics after finishing second at the U.S. Olympic Trials with a time of 8:21.47. He also represented the U.S. at the 2011 World Championships in Daegu, South Korea, after winning the steeplechase at the U.S. Track & Field Championships that year. His personal best in the event stands at an impressive 8:17.27, achieved at the 2011 Diamond League Meet in Monaco. After transitioning from athlete to coach, Nelson dedicated over a decade to mentoring the next generation of distance runners. From 2010-2022, he served as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for the University of Colorado's cross country and track & field programs. Throughout his career, Nelson has been instrumental in recruiting athletes who have earned 122 All-American honors across cross country and track disciplines, including multiple NCAA Champions and Olympians. In recognition of his outstanding contributions to the sport, Nelson was inducted into the Colorado Running Hall of Fame in 2016. His enduring commitment to distance running, both as an athlete and a coach, continues to inspire and shape the future of the sport.

I attended Jenks High School and The University of Oklahoma. I am a father of three kids, two daughters and a son, two of whom were multisport athletes in High school; one that will graduate spring of 2026. Former baseball league President and Tournament Director. Coached Diamond League Baseball during my summers in college. Coached all three of my kids in softball, baseball and basketball. Coached a USSSA Majors level baseball team prior to my son reaching the high school ranks. I have 20+ years of umpiring and different levels. I have spent many years working in corporate America in Sales and Customer Service. I love just about anything sports and spending time with my three kiddos. Mark is a former athlete. He played football and baseball from the time he was seven until he graduated high school. He also played a few seasons of soccer, basketball until he found out he was far too short and ran the 400m, mile relay and threw the discus and shot put. But his life changed once he put on the "tools of ignorance". After graduating high school, Mark joined the Army and left after a tour in Operation Iraqi Freedom. Once out, he came back to Oklahoma where the coaching bug hit him. Starting with football and then moving on to baseball and softball, Mark found the teaching aspect to be of far more importance then winning the game itself. Today, Mark looks for and scouts the up and coming future college athletes. With a keen eye and awareness for what college coaches are looking for, Mark will evaluate your child thoroughly. Some of Marks outside interests include, crossfit and weight training, traveling to the next exotic locale, reading and learning new languages.

My name is Matt Thompson and I will be leading efforts for Soccer, Swimming and similar sports for NSR. Based in Edmond, OK, I have been married to my wife for 23 years and we have one daughter, Rileigh, who is turning 15 in 2025. Going into 9th grade for the Deer Creek School district, she has been the Co-Captain for the Deer Creek MS Soccer team, plays Club Soccer for OEFC - Oklahoma Energy Football Club at the ENRL level and most recently, was selected as a Freshman Varsity player for Deer Creek High School. My athletic background includes Soccer, Swimming, Marathons, Traithlon, Duathlons and Aquathlon. I was recruited to Missouri State University's Division I swim team winning AMCU Conference Swimmer of the year my Freshman and Junior years, setting over 30 school, conference, pool and meet records and competed at the Senior national level for USA club swimming. I played Soccer until the high school level and have been a part of the Soccer community in Oklahoma for 7 years OEFC. I was a nationally ranked Triathlete, qualifying for the USA Age group World's team in Triathlon and Aquathlon as well as completing over 150 races over 15 years of racing. At a professional level, I am an Executive Retained Search recruiter, placing Executives with Forbes Top 100 public and private companies. I have led or consulted for recruiting and executive teams for Global Payments Inc, Love's Travel Stops, Whataburger, Sonic and other top companies in the US. As a professional recruiter, I have speculated and placed some of the highest executives in Oklahoma based companies and professionals around the continental US.My goal is to help the athlete understand the importance of the college selection process and the expectations that competing at that level entail, to ensure they get the most out of the selection and college athletic experience.
