A resident of Indianapolis, I have been very involved with travel baseball as both a parent and coach. Combining over 30 years of business experience and my love for the game I have found my true passion! I am proud to say that I have become an area director in Indiana and Michigan for NSR...the leader in helping student athletes through the college recruiting process. Baseball has been very good to my family. From my oldest son Zach playing in college, my youngest son Tyler being a NSR athlete and now playing in college to the close friendships I have developed over many years. I am thrilled to be part of such a great organization and the opportunity to help your son navigate the recruiting process and find his perfect college fit! Over the years I have seen that there were athletes good enough to play baseball in college but did not get the opportunity because their parents did not understand the process or have someone that they trusted to navigate the recruiting process and find their perfect college fit! LeAnn Bird

LeAnn Bird is originally from Hot Springs, Virginia where she is a proud member of the Hall of Fame class of 1997. Bird is a 4-year letter winner in both basketball and softball. After high school, she attended Salem College on a 4-year basketball scholarship. While at Salem, Bird earned her B.S. degree in Biology and her M.A. in Education. Bird is the 3rd all-time leading scorer in the history of the school. In October of 2018, Bird and her teammates were inducted into the Salem University Hall of Fame. The 1987-88 team was the first team in the history of the college to win a conference championship and the first 20 win season. After graduating, Bird began her coaching career at her Alma Mater. In her first year, the team won the WVIAC Conference and competed in the National tournament. Bird continued her coaching career at West Virginia Institute of Technology. In 1998, LeAnn began her teaching and coaching career in high school. Bird embraced the opportunity to return to the university level by excepting a position as the Academic Learning Specialist/Counselor at Florida State University. From there, Bird moved into a Lead Football Learning Specialist at the University of Wisconsin. LeAnn continued to grow as a leader and took her skills to the University of Illinois-Champaign where she served as the Associate Director of Academics. LeAnn is bringing her experience as a coach, mentor and teacher to NSR. LeAnn has a heart for helping young athletes live out their dream of playing sports in college.

Hello! I am Kristin Dehnke-Mihalic! My passion for helping student-athletes stems from my own experience navigating the recruiting process and competing at the collegiate level. I started my softball college career at Southeastern University in Lakeland Fl, and after my freshman year I decided to transfer to a school closer to home. I was able to find a school that lined up with my educational goals and softball. I was able to finish out my softball career at Taylor University in Upland, Indiana, where I competed as a catcher and had the opportunity to contribute both on and off the field. During my time as a Trojan, I developed leadership skills behind the plate, competed against some of the top teams in the Crossroads League, and contributed offensively through timely RBIs, extra-base hits, and consistent defensive play. Before attending Taylor and Southeastern, I played at Salem High School in Canton, Michigan. I was honored to earn three All-District and All-Conference selections and was recognized as an All-State and All-Region player during my senior season. Those experiences helped shape my work ethic, resilience, and appreciation for the opportunities athletics can provide.After my playing career, I transitioned into coaching, where I discovered a passion for mentoring and developing student-athletes. My experiences as both a player and coach give me a unique perspective on the recruiting journey and allow me to help athletes and their families navigate one of the most important decisions of their athletic careers.At National Scouting Report, I am committed to helping student-athletes find the right collegiate fit academically, athletically, and personally. Currently residing just north of Indianapolis, Indiana. I am a former Division 1 College baseball pitcher at Miami University (OH) and NSR athlete. Currently a travel baseball coach and have been for the past five years. Softball has always been more than a game to me—it’s about confidence, growth, and creating opportunities. As a Head Varsity Softball Coach, private instructor, and owner of Double Eight Athletics, I’ve had the opportunity to work with athletes of all ages in hitting, pitching, fielding, and overall player development. I’m passionate about helping athletes and families navigate the recruiting process, gain exposure, and understand what it takes to compete at the next level. Ashlee Pritchard was the head volleyball coach at Indiana State for four seasons after being named the program’s 10th head coach on April 14, 2022. During her tenure, the Sycamores showed steady improvement, highlighted by Kira Holland earning MVC Freshman of the Year honors in 2023 and multiple players receiving All-Freshman Team recognition and MVC Freshman of the Week honors in 2025. The team has also improved statistically, including a significant increase in service aces, while maintaining strong defensive performance.Before Indiana State, Pritchard spent 10 seasons as head coach at Marian University, where she built the program into an NAIA powerhouse with a 222–103 record, including going 161-37 over the last six seasons. Her teams won four Crossroads League regular-season titles, two conference tournament championships, a national semi-title appearance in 2021, and the 2019 NAIA National Championship. Pritchard earned multiple coaching honors, including NAIA/AVCA National Coach of the Year in 2019. Prior to Marian, she was an assistant coach at Taylor University for three seasons and previously played four years for the Trojans, serving as a team captain and finishing fourth in school history in digs. Pritchard holds a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Taylor and a master’s degree in sports administration from Liberty University. She and her husband, Nathan, have two children and a golden retriever puppy, named Indy.
